CHILDREN SERVICES

Magic City offers services for children, birth to 21.  These services provide the family and the school district with the additional support often needed.

Services offered are:

* Assessments

* Case management

* Personal Care - Provides assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, personal    hygiene, and activities of daily living.

* Psychological Services

* Respite Care - is a service provided to give regular care givers a break.  This service can be provided at an MCE site or in other community settings.  This is primarily an after school or summertime respite.

*Residential Habilitation - Provides supports and supervision in a group home setting to individuals 18-20 years of age.  Individuals receive skills training to increase independence related to his or her own needs and desires.

* Residential Habilitation Trainer - An individualized array of training that is designed to help individuals acquire, retain and improve self-sufficiency, socialization, and adaptive skills necessary to reside successfully in their home and community.
