Magic City won the "Search for Excellence" award in 1988 for it's innovative and progressive vocational programs. This set a standard that is still held today.

Services and supports available to persons with disabilities include:

Assessment of career interests, skills and support needs
Career planning
Assistance and support in developing quality employment opportunities
Education and support in developing resumes, applications and interview skills
Development of natural and planned supports including job coaching as needed to ensure successful employment
Opportunities for inclusion through education, training, advocacy, social interactions, invitations to participate, behavioral supports and planned activities
Ongoing support and follow along services may be provided as needed

Services and supports available to employers include:

Qualified applicants
Job analysis and assessments to help assure a successful job match
Consultation services consisting of on-site training and support to managers, supervisors and employees
On-site training of the new applicant as desired and needed
Ongoing technical assistance as needed
Interpretation and assistance with implementing elements of the Americans with Disabilities Act
